Wokring on new server Mod

Ok so now that m in a better mood im gonna try working bukkit again.
(Technically it is craftbukkit)

I probably wont be playing so much, because I will be working solely on configuring the new mod. Ill still be on my comp so feel free to talk to me anyways because I can still talk through the server.

Btw if you have a problem logging in because of the port just remember to add :25565 at the end of the IP because I am working on the new mod with port :25566 so it might cause you a problem if you dont specify.

Ill do my best to keep you updated on the new server mod's status!

*Latest Update: #8*

Here is what the new mod has working:
-Achievements
-Build Restrictions
-Colored Groups and all that Chat Tomfoolery
-Customized Block Drops(ex: break ice, get ice, but only if you have a gold pick)
-Death Messages(different format but gets the job done)
-General Commands(help command is still under dev. so... yeah...)
-Unknown Command(says "unknown command" if a command dsnt do anything)
-Magic Carpet(now with /mc and dif sizes ex: /mc 3,/mc 7)

To Do List:
-Configure all those plugins like Achievements and Restrictions etc.
-Re-update a few plugins because some do not have all features yet
-Get a working Gaurdian plugin
-Hopefully solve the conflict of Stats and HeroicDeath message repeat
-Get Craftbook when it comes out
-Get a few more plugins like WorldEdit and Skills

Well bukkit is still too early in developement to be considered "stable" so we still need to wait... Also the fact that even the most basic plugins have yet to be entirely complete, for instance the "help" command does not even work yet...

Achievements - achievements! dur!
GroupManager - groups, permissions, etc.
BlockDrops - blocks, mobs, and tools can have different drops,durability, etc.
HeroicDeath - the messages that appear in chat when you die
kGeneral - all those basic commands like /warp /spawn /kit etc.
MagicCarpet - a better version than what we have now
UnknownCommand - says "unknown command" when a command wont register
WorldEdit - basically cuboid
WorldGaurd - No hazards like fire and creepers

What plugins need a replacement:
BlockDrops - works, but the code will be made more efficient, no worries
kGeneral - works, but no longer supported + inefficient code, need replacement

What plugins are needed:
-Some kinda of chat customization, colors, tags, etc.
-Something to limit building rights of players
-CraftBook, should be coming out this weekend

What plugins might be added:
-Exp related plugins so there are mining levels, woodcutting levels, etc.

Ill see if I can add that later on, seems like a fun plugin. Ill need to look into the SQLite somthin or other because i need that downloaded, but Im not really sure what it is...

Essentials - multiple plugins that give the basic commands like /help, /spawn, etc.
BigBrother - Logs every action of every player and allows reverts of all kinds so it is basically making the server grief-proof
AntiGrief - limits building rights.
MonsterHunt - makes killing monsters a competition on some nights, winner can get rewards. (Added on request of Nopt)
HeroChat - colorful chat, colorful names, and multiple chat rooms for when the server starts getting crowded.

I now have the plugins I need to securely open the server
I must configure all of them first, but I will definitely be ready by saturday at latest! (Unless notch adds some random update that screws over all the plugins...)

Have you found the mod where there are NPCs admins can place cause that one seems really cool in my book. It could help with tours of towns and cities.

Im shooting to finally put the real server back up on Friday Night (EST 8:00)
Once I clear out all items in chests then it will be RP time!
I have yet to decide wether to do a Public release yet, but we can let people dribble in if they find the server. I just dont want loads of incoming people quite yet!

Cant Wait but for now i have to get some but looks awesome this will change minecraft totally i really don't honestly think minecraft needs achievements with awards but should be interesting.

Ok so my 8:00 PM EST release time didnt really work out cuz I've been at school from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM. We had a student concert kinda thing and it was awesome!

Anyways Ill get back to workin on the mods right away! Can't promise it will be out tonight, but that also means we'll probably have craftbook and stuff when I do release it! Sorry about the wait, Im doin my best here

Configured OtherBlocks. It hasn't come out with a way to change mob drops yet, but I have already written the code for it when it does

I've been working real hard on configuring modding and etc this server so i really need a few days break.

This will not only allow me to de-stress myself, it also allows the plugin developers to fix their plugins.

Ill take the building restrictions off, but please careful and /ban someone you dont know if they say "Im new" or something laong those lines because i really dont want to risk griefing

When you die of a heart attack or stroke due to stress because you talked to your computer too much, can I have your server files? I also would like your secret that you keep inside your "downloads" section of your documents. Yes, that secret not the one with the turkey and the stuffed animals.

Specifically the GroupManager commands.

Also: We have Craftbook and otherBlocks is 100% functional now!

There is only one issue that NEEDS addressing, an that would be the /help menu... You guys still have 21 pages of commands you can't use and I am trying to find a way that just displays the commands you can use.

But we can start RP tonight! :DDD
I'll need to give the advisors and Kings a small tutorial on the GroupManager commands so they can properly chaneg people's ranks.
