We need an agreeable way to make larger clans happy and to limit the number of clans and to prevent griefing but idk I would be fine if we had protection for all clans but I just don't want to have issues with griefing

I say we only have Griefing for clans who are at war with each other but to a limited degree. You cant level a whole clan base but you can steal and raid.

also allow griefing for all non-clan affiliated stuff (nomads, RANDOM SHIT STAINS AROUND SPAWN, etc...)

So: Protection only for clans with 10+ people
Nomads/ 9- clans, you can break in, NOT LEVEL THE WHOLE THING.
If clans are at war, AND LEADERS AGREE TO IT: they may break into eachothers base IF AGREED UPON
If everyone agrees i will finalize, move this thread, and add the adjustments to compromise post.

I would say the same for everything and no protection for anyone but only minimal break ins like you said because the only reason why large clans would want protection would be from griefing and if we only allow tiny little holes of griefing or so who cares? We should also make a stealing thing where if a clan is stolen from and the leader of the offending clan must either be ok with the stealing, or if he didn't know about it/wasn't ok with it, kick the member out and return the items.

stealing is completely legal, and since theres no way to really prove who dun it, then you cant forcefully start a war.

I meant that the leader of say bounty was ok with one of his members stealing from another clan but disregard that idea I don't care do you agree with the whole minimal griefing to steal for all clans and nobody is protected

no, you are protected unless you are at a war and agree to be able to break in with the other clans leader.

I say everyclan above 10 people get one room (chest room) that has protected chests in it for each memebr. IE: 10 protected chests for 10 people. that way people have 1 protected chest and everything else would have to be hidden to stop from the griefing during war.

But that defeats the stealing and favors large clans

Yeah, pretty much if you take out the block breaking during war, people can just put a block above their chests and dont need to hide them.

^This. Swim i dont want to favor big clans but i dont want all the bases to be underground to prevent from greif. if they have a chest room thats protected and every one gets ONE chest Not double but ONE then they have certain things they can save and stuff they cant.

Lets just go with this because it makes griefing illegal unless leaders agree to it so everyone is happy if you don't want break ins if your base is solid enough.
