Amplified Biomes?

If we reboot the server would you guys be up for amplified biomes? i can see how it could be a bad idea but it could also be pretty cool

i like them too, but the problem is that would be against the whole idea of keeping within a smaller area of the map, because in order to find all the biomes, we would need a larger area. Also idk if its really that big a difference but ive heard that it causes some fps lag

that maybe but the fps lag doesn't occur often

it might just have something to do with certain blocks in certain biomes that are there much more often and cause more lag then usual, like vines, lots of tall trees can cause a bit of lag too

that is true but i do believe there is a bukkit plugin that can that can turn of certain biomes but i may be wrong.

I decided to check for fps lag in jungles and had no problem
