Dirty's Server(s) Idea
RP SERVER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~main server
-New map
-Rp style with 2 (Red vs Blue) OR 3-4 (Red, blue, green (I call green) and maybe a yellow... or whatever colours you want) main kingdoms,
- Main kingdoms get benefits like grief protection and a /home which goes to their clan hub only (No set-able /homes for everyone)
- Nomads are aloud... just no benefits... (May break into a nomad base ~not blow it to bits)
- Stealing is aloud from kingdoms, but no breaking in.
- Possibly multiple worlds (like red vs blue), or just one main world with paths to decently spaced kingdoms... (Im thinking pretty far (2000ish apart, more realism.) but /spawn is still available to all.)
- unless you are the required rank for a kingdom, you are not able to break blocks in the other kingdoms.
-KINGDOMS ARE NOT ALWAYS AT WAR--- PEACE ON EARTH!!!
- possible /war command where both kings must sign treaty (accept with command)---allows Knights (see hierarchical below) and above in ranking to break blocks in opposing kingdoms. Maybe not a good idea, discuss below.
- Hierarchical systems for each kingdom
~ 1 King > has control over everything in his kingdom; access to /sethome (and /setspawn if separate worlds) for entire kingdom, admins/moderators
~ 1-2 Nobles; can add members to kingdom (possibly only moderators?)
~ 1-4 Lords; have ability to expand kingdom and create kingdom-owned colonies without permission from king (Anyone can expand with permission), ability to set plots in kingdom
~ 0-x Knights; have access to clan's shared storage (only accessible with a command- seperate world? far away in bedrock casing?)
~Merchants; ability to create shops on their plots.
~ Peasants; ability to build/break within kingdom/in kingdom world
~ Nomads; Newbies, ability to build/break outside of spawn and kingdoms/in spawn world (not in spawn ofc), may enter kingdoms/kingdom worlds to see if they like it to join etc. (Can still be killed within kingdom with no reasons given.. some don't like visitors!)

-Only us already regular long time community members aloud

Leave feedback please. . . Not going to talk about plugins and such until people actually decide what we want.

Just an idea that popped into my head while reading this:
There could be a lawless world and a civilized world.
In the lawless world, anything goes, absolutely no rules except actually cheating/hacking. Civilized world you can't affect blocks that are outside your territory. Kingdoms buy land by chunks (the 16x16x256 things) with some form of economy and can do w/e the fuck they want with them.
Gives incentive for an economy, gives a way to be competitive with other kingdoms (like wars/political negotiations over who gets to buy territory) and is a great way to prevent griefing, etc.

I definitely want the stealing option but at the same time I don't want bases/kingdoms etc to be 10000's apart

I would say no more than 3 kingdoms max unless there is we do some sort of theme that would make sense for a multitude of kingdoms.

I think it would be more cool if we used some form of waypoints rather than arbitrarily typing /home or w/e. It would also be cool if you had to visit a waypoint before you can teleport to it. Also I think if there are teleports of any kind they should come at an expensive cost

From what I've gathered over the years, this does not work too well. You either give absolutely no grief protection or total grief protection otherwise you will spend the majority of your days listening to people bitch about whether or not something is considered griefing to a nomad and everyone ends up butthurt

I think stealing should be made impossible, it really is the source of more than half the complaints on any server and there is no great way to enforce the rule without at least someone complaining 24/7

See my comment earlier in the thread about my multiworld idea, it would be fairly easy to manage too. Rest of your post seems solid too, I dont have much to add to that tho

I agree with everything there, but the whole no stealing period, because it kinda defeats the purpose of the kingdoms... Unless we add some kind of arena or something that hosts pvp events every x amount of time ie month. Also, i do like the you have to have been there to be able to warp thing, but some should be restricted.... like just because a member from blue has been in the green base, doesnt mean he should be able to warp there.

I think seasons is a very good way to describe it hahaha
And no I won't run my own kingdom. Certainly I'll be active(not enough to dedicate towards managing people tho), but I want to be a normal user for once anyway.

My thoughts were me for green king, tye for red (guessing he would pick that colour), and you for blue (also colour guessing)
But this changes everything! Not really, i didnt expect you to even be active with the school situation and all..
But really anyone could be kings. I think we should do some application sort of thing, since it also includes becoming a moderator.

You have until saturday at 8pm before I take the server down. Btw anyone can post their own idea for a server in another thread and I'll extend the uptime, I just want to see some thought actually going to the future server
