The new server will be like the good ol days with clans, except we will be doing it with a Semi-RP aspect. (Much different than RP)

-You will not be forced to join a clan but you are in danger of being griefed or stolen from without penalty.

-Clans can be made by creating a forum post and having the support of 5 members including the leader.

-Clan Leader
-Clan Rep (must have 7 members per Rep)
-Clan Member
-Nomad (Clan-less player)
-Newcomer (No building rights like before)

one no there could be able to go solo but without protection what are you gunna do?

second : about the name tags i think there should be only 3 ranks the regular member the officer and the leader

So maybe we could have chest protection only for official clans?

And non-clan places are in danger of griefing without penalty?

yea both seems fair but how does one become an official clan?
maybe top 3 clans decide if the clan should be official? or have an event that all un-official clan can participate in and the winner gets to be official clan?

I thought my old way of having 5 active members say they wanna join the clan then it would be official was pretty solid.

I like the idea of events tho

Im partial to universal ranks, but clan based ranks could also work

every clan gets to name their own ranks. But globally 3 ranks are same except 1 which will have special privileges in the clan?

but it seems like that might be alot of work for mods and admin

The problem with the old server i think is that there was not enough to do.. like we need more then a lvling system... or else itll turn into to runescape and we dont want that.. we need fights. quests. etc.. p.s. i like the events

maybe a quest board where people can post stuff they need and a reward then a person will go and get the items or do the thing requested but more than 1 person can accept at a time and fight over the job reward or something.

or have an hourly quest or event that everyone can participate in and get a substantial reward for their clan like..... a special warp or command ex. /jump till next event or quest?

im up for anything! as long as we get to play in groups and work together. Maybe we should just make an epic castle.

Well I was thinkin along the lines of
-Clan Leader
-Something like advisor here
-Clan Member
-Nomad (Clan-less player)
-Newcomer (No building rights like before)

+ we'll have [Mod] added to all u mods before your clantag

Then the rest of the ranks could be clan specific, and Ill make special tags for your clan but you will need to manage them.

I can give the clan leaders and (advisor w/e's) /manuadd regardless of wether they r a mod or not because fortunately the hierarchical system of groupmanager makes it so they can't modify other clans

Well you can actually get blocks that dont exist with gold tools! Seein as how it wont be RP anymore ill give you guys the list of transfers, like gold ore with gold pick = glowstone etc

Well Bounty is now back in order I guess. I am very dissappointed to return to our old ways but as long as we can use that one map that had the Bounty base and CE base on it I will be happy again but only mildly. I think we should only have 3 clans officially (just like rp) but that if you dont wanna join a clan then you can build you're own house but it won't be protected by chest protect. We can also kill people all we want as long as we dont grief to get into a place. ( I'm talking about those bastards who broke the gate to Green Nation and placed dispensers everywhere then broke into the bank and stole everything and then stole my stuff at my mansion then killed me when I caught them doing it and then I threw them into pit o death and then they get mad and want to kill me nonstop then they get banned for griefing Green District.) We should still keep Monster Hunt and keep Magiccarpet for Clan Leaders.

Sorry to dissappoint but we will be doing a brand new world.
Mods will get /mc but i like nopts idea of people earning abilities like /j

I also dont want lots of spread out nomads, I really want to focus on communities

we definatley need smaller communtities all working on some similar project... in the server cause the only thing that tied ppl together in the last one was their nation... i mean ppl were stealing from their own nation

i like monster hunt too!

I want to build a stuff with people or like my own house and then connect it to someone elses so that its safe to visit each other. we each can have our own projects or we can help each other out, and also help each other out if fighting other groups. not like a clan but more like friends building together? its kinda sad to be regulated how big or shape your house can be and where it can be

true thats what i was thinking when he asked if we wanted to be forced into a clan i was thinking about people who wanted to make like friendships and such.
