Compromise For Server: Old
this sounds like a good idea overall maybe we could have actual battle fields (made by the clans) that could be fought on. of course that's just an idea

Yeah but I feel it would confine things into one space so it would be kindof bland, I think clan bases work fine as battlegrounds, or the surrounding areas of it, the clans can make their battlegrounds if they want I guess

im fine with no home/spawn, and would much rather have no protection at all on anything, cept for the spawn area

but as Ludi would say, everyone would just spread so far out that it wouldn't be at all community-like of a server if there was greifing, EVEN IF IT SEEMS MORE HARDCORE

then make mobs harder as you go out, and have less drops, that way people will have to come in closer... or get rid of /home, which is eh for me:P

I say we keep the /home but make mobs really hard to kill, very few drops and clan base protections so we dont all spread so far. You guys ok with this plan? I just want all of us to compromise on a single idea so we can get started soon

clan base protections is good, but chest protections in the base isnt, imo. I dont think chest protection is ever a good idea, because we are wanting a pvp and war based server, correct?
Having chest protection makes going into other people's base pointless, and then the only way to steal items would be killing, and theres no way to kill without someone knowing. So the whole stealth aspect is gone with chest protection

I could live with that as long as we don't do the whole "No protection for anything and no spawn city" like swimmer said because all of the younger clans would get screwed fast and we would get griefed pretty hard, so I'm going to add no chest protections to my listaDirtyFishTank wrote:clan base protections is good, but chest protections in the base isnt, imo. protection on bases could be the not actually protected thing, but we arent actually aloud to. Although, this is difficult to do because people will always break stuff, and it can be difficult to get it back. people will always bitch for this, convinced that there is no way to get in their base, even if there is. It is especially a problem for me because people accuse me of being bias because im a mod, and its my clan, or my allies that did it when i make the decision if any rules were broken.
So, maybe we shuld add a protection thing, where after a clan gets x amount of members, they will have their bases protected.

I say 5 members required for creation and say 10 for protection of the base or so, otherwise do you agree with the plan? I think those are good numbers. The whole 5 for protection we had was too little of a number. This number will make my job so much easier
