City Struggle Server idea
Main idea:
Guilds will compete in minigames/challenges/etc... for land in the great city on a frequent basis. You can only build/break blocks/use chests/etc... on land that is owned by your guild in the world of the great city. There will also be a normal world, nether, and end where there are no rules, and these will be frequently reset.
World structure:
- 2 normal worlds
~ Dynamic world
= no rules aside from legit cheating
= gets a fresh map reset every other day
~ The Great City
= Can only do things on your guild's owned land
= Cannot leave the boundaries of the great city
= No pvp in the great city
= World does not get reset
= Cannot own land unless in a guild
= Plots in a grid layout
= Maybe a custom flat map with uniform stone underground?
- 1 Dynamic nether
~ no rules aside from no legit cheating
~ gets a fresh map reset every other day
- 1 Dynamic end
~ no rules aside from legit cheating
~ gets a fresh map reset every other day
Guilds
- Unsure if it should be finite or allow guilds to be made
- Each guild gets a free guild hall plot
~ You must always have at least one guild hall sized plot for your guild hall
- Compete in various challenges to gain access to more land in the great city
- Can trade land with other guilds
- Can battle for land with other guilds
- guild master (inherits recruiter)
~ only 1
~ appoints recruiters
~ can remove members
~ lead decision maker on various guild based game mechanics
- recruiter(inherits member)
~ no limit on amount
~ can add members
- member(inherits player)
~ can build on guild owned land
~ can participate in guild activities
- player
~ can move freely about all dynamic worlds
~ can teleport to the great city at any given time
~ can do w/e the fuck they want in the dynamic worlds
~ can be recruited to join a guild (and really should)
Land grab
- Get land from winning the frequent guild competitions
~ I'll come up with competition ideas on the fly sort of
= With lots of interesting rules, tweaks, and requirements
~ There will be certain resource costs in order to compete
- Land can be traded at any time
- You can wager land in a competition in order to gain extra land
- You can wager extra resources in a competition in order to gain extra land
- Guilds can host their own admin approved 1v1 competitions for land
This was all just on the fly, but tell me what you guys think. Btw I could totally be an ingame admin for this

After discussing this server idea with feren, we both came to the conclusion that this may literally be a perfect server base idea. It makes it possible to implement a lot of things people want such as iconomy and mcmmo in certain ways while also keeping things fresh and exciting.
