Server status and Plugins

I just refreshed the nether so I hope you guys were done getting your stuff

So, are we aloud pvp and stealing and such now? Or no?

Yes, but lets put it this way: if you steal enough to get noticed, you'll get in trouble.

Also no pvp inside the spawn area of course

no, defeats the whole purpose of redstone,

Its not for eliminating Redstone, I plan on using it to open the water ladder on my ball from the ground. A tower of torches would ruin the look. Without /home I'd have no way in.

Server may be down after 4 PM EST today, pop has a conference call and phone calls dont play well with my internet

Cross your fingers the server does not crash or anything.

Ill of course still be checking the forums daily and I'm gonna try to do some coding while im away. Hopefully by the time I get back everything will be perfectly in-tact online and okie dokie with both the server and my plugin.

I'm thinking we do a whitelist and post on planet minecraft

Need a whitelist with application and a few guys to be able to add them to the server, so we don't get noobs, trolls, or leavers

And why don't you set up teamshare or whatever it's called with someone to run the server if it goes down?

i would run it if it went down, but my internet is effed atm. And for the whitelist, just have ign, reasons you want to join, why we should accept you. WONDERFUL IDEA: dont let them get prestige unless they join forums. Or dont let them pass newcomer. that way if people want to be active they will have to beon forums too, and it will reduce the greifers, trolls, etc., because they wont want to make a whitelist, join forums, etc. We will get a lot less people at first, but many more will end up staying.

I know Dirty killed the redstone sign idea, but what happened to the elevator and gate signs? Those were nice...

And Dirty, one more try to convince you, like everybody has a crapton of redstone, it would be more trouble to make the signs to eliminate it. It would be used for places where a wire would be out of place, like going up to my ball...

the plugin we used was discontinued i think, at least it was for a while.

if u want to look for a replacement, the plugin was CraftBook... i think...

Two: I wouldnt mind bringing back the gate. It would make creating a large door of some kind much easier. Not to mention it was cool. AND if we couple that with the redstone idea (Which I like btw) it would serve for some rlly cool stuff. So yea, I vote yes for redstone plugin and re-institution of the gates

Exactly wpn, the whole point of redstone, the complication, thats the reason it wasnt originally made with signs, or why there isnt wireless redstone already in the game. Its the challenge that makes redstone fun, and look up falsebook on bukkit, it was on a different server about a month or two ago and worked well, just like craftbook
