Nopt, if someone is gonna be a clan leader set their group to Leader and they should be able to create their clan

As for the memory stones, only i can build them due to the inconvenient permission integration which i fail to fully comprehend

If anyone wants one just give me 9 obby blocks, 1 iron block, 1 gold block, and1 diamond block + a sign. Remember they are meant as public places for anyone to teleport to once they find em

ludi mods dont have permissions to use SWattchdog and also i think we should us this plugin instead of watch dog seems easier to use http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/hawkeye/

To sum up the public release:

It was an epic fail

So of course the floodstream of people come in and 99.9% of them did not read rules or it seems anything about the server. They start asking Nopt, him being the only person on besides me, what the server was about and all the rules. Since Nopt was explaining rules more people kept coming on and asking for rules and stuff and Nopt couldn't answer them so they just quit. Plus a guy came on and kept asking for creative mode and to be an operator and saying that he could build stuff. After he asked and Nopt said no for the 600th time, he left. By then around 70 people had been on and had left. There was about 10 who tried to stay but was killed by monsters when they were trying to get started and rage quited.

I estimate about 4 people might want to stay and so far no one has signed up on the forums yet ...

My solution to this problem: Whitelist

We had whitelist on the old Yoshicraft clan server that I first joined into and it was great. It got rid of all the trash that comes in randomly and replaces it with people who actually want to join the server and become part of the community. We could make them sign up and put in an application on the forum just like it was when I joined.

I kinda hate the way the server is only being occupied by older members and I just wish we could be successful at getting new people.

i hate to admit it but big is right like 30-40 ppl came on and only like 3-4 stayed for more than 30 min so i agree we should implement whitelist

the apps should be made on our forums, and to be approved they need to bump the/a public forum post.

Brainstorm some prerequisites so we can sift through the derps more easily.

whitelist. No one likes to look for a server and see it has a whitelist and not know if their app will be accepting in an hour, or a week. It will just make the whitelist not scare as many people away

instead of a /whitelist do you wanna just let people log on and not be able to do anything until a mod/admin approves their app and changes their group to Member or w/e we would call it. Or just solid whitelist, your choice.

that sounds good etiher will work. In addition i can make it so they cant leave spawn with world guard if we dont want them wondering around
