Seems it likes to crash fairly frequently for no easily discernible reason on my end...

I can put it back up whenever i notice, but... yeah

We could try out the newest direwolf20 pack on the ftb launcher. from what ive read it seems to be very stable in comparison. On the ftb launcher there is a download server button. It is the top direwolf20 pack on this list, the icon is an animal paw looking thing.

It is live and the whitelist is off. See how it goes

looks like it has actually gone down for the first time. Last night it was lagging quite a bit too so it may just need a restart every once in a while

Its back up. And yeah, it looks like restarts may be necessary every now and then.

It stopped because my computer ran out of RAM space which is ridiculous considering the server has 12GB dedicated specifically to running it. It basically means that one or more of the plugins has a nasty memory leak which is kind of out of my control...

Good news, after my computer crashed and stopped working, and instead of me actually fixing it, I decided to buy a new one. The old one was too old and crappy and wasn't really worth fixing.

This new one seems like quite the beauty.

4th gen intel core i7-4790 processor 16GB memory
2TB harddrive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 4GB Graphics

Only thing I'm not happy with is Windows 8... boooooo I miss windows 7 already

nope

but it came to a point where it wouldnt turn on. The power light would come on, any usb connections would work, but no sound and no startup beep noise. Nothing would come up on the screen. The disc drive slot still opened and closed fine.

Jmart, in case you didnt know, its a direwolf server so you need to download a client for that

From what ive read that solves any problems that it has with crashing and such

Restarts dont help much if something wont even start the first time...
